HAAKE™ Rheomex 19/25 QC and CTW100 QC Extruder System

HAAKE™ Rheomex QC laboratory extruders, consist of single-screw extruder (19/25 QC) and conical twin-screw compounder (CTW100 QC) designed for the HAAKE™ PolyLab™ QC torque rheometer platform, enable analysis of the rheological and processing behavior as well as continuous compounding and plasticising of diverse materials. Using minimal sample quantities, these extruders allow users to simulate production processes and create films or profiles for subsequent analysis.

Haake Rheomex 19/25 QC single-screw extruders provide reliable data during the extrusion process, allowing for verification of key process parameters (speed, energy, temperature) for new materials or the production of small quantities of a novel polymer (in forms like strands, sheets, pellets, or blown films) during research and development. These extruders feature measuring ports for melt pressure and temperature to monitor the process parameters along the extruder barrels.
HAAKE CTW100 QC conical twin-screw extruder, part of the HAAKE PolyLab QC system, is ideal for continuous compounding and plasticizing. Its counter-rotating, intermeshing screws provide a well-defined residence time, ensuring consistent production of process-critical polymers. The extruder’s gentle yet intensive dispersion capabilities effectively mix additives and pigments.

The system offers a range of screw geometries, allowing for process customization with varying compression ratios, venting, and mixing sections. Wear-resistant screws and barrels enhance the system’s longevity. Standard pellet feeders and specialized feeders for powders, pastes, liquids, or highly viscous materials like rubber complete the setup.
